Q: Does the character name matter more than memory? A: No. The name is what gets you to try her. Memory is what brings you back after a week. Trust me, a bot with the right name who forgets you gets old fast.

Voice, Photos and Clips: The Widest Gap

Of everything in this comparison, this is where the two options are furthest apart.

Text-first fan bots

Fan bots are mostly text with a community avatar on top. Character.AI does have voice calls, and they're unlimited on c.ai+, which is a real point in its favor. What you can't do is reliably see your character when you want to. Nothing adult is allowed, either.

GoLove.ai

GoLove treats her as someone you can see and hear, not just read:

• Photos: ask for one in the chat and she sends it, NSFW included, and it's still the same character

1. Create: open Create and choose the Anime card. The other options are Realistic, Trans, and Design with AI, where you describe a concept in text.
2. Personality: write in the traits (pink-and-green braids, big appetite, openly affectionate, fierce when it counts) and make it clear she's an adult.
3. Save and chat: save her, open the chat, and set response length and lust level to your taste.
4. Photo: ask for a photo right in the chat, for example after a scene or when she's teasing you.
5. Clip: pick one photo and turn it into a moving clip with Generate Video from Photo.

Yes, this takes more effort than clicking on a fan bot. You decide who she is, so she's only as good as what you write. The upside is that nobody else's lazy persona writing can make her drift. And if writing a personality from scratch feels like homework, Design with AI takes a plain description and builds the character for you.

Losing the Canon Mitsuri Name, Keeping a Companion Who Remembers

Notes from the build:

• No internal links. Section 7 asked for a link to the hub page and one to an anime or alternative article, and the prompt requires at least 2 markers. This site has no articles yet, so I left both out rather than make up slugs. That will fail the internal-link gate until real slugs exist.
• Screenshot filenames aren't in the catalog. The catalog list was empty, so I used the five filenames named in the section specs. If the formatter checks names against the catalog, it may drop all five, which would fail the 3-screenshot minimum.
• Honesty section format. The evidence kit asks for a free-tier and pricing honesty section, but the section plan asks for a canon-name trade-off. I followed the plan and put the free-tier limits and PRO pricing, with the dated footnote, in its cons list.
• Block formatting. I didn't know the formatter's syntax for the Q&A, pros/cons and verdict blocks, so they're plain markdown (bold labels, lists and a blockquote). They may need converting.
• Edit pass. The photo bullet in the Voice/Photos section now comes before voice, to match the US emphasis on photos over video. All markers, numbers, prices, headings and the FAQ are unchanged.
• Tools needing sign-in. The Ahrefs, Excalidraw, Asana, Atlassian, Notion, Slack and seo-gets tools can't be used until they're authorized, either in your claude.ai connector settings or with `/mcp` in an interactive session. None of them were needed for this article.
